The *Chakchas* are an idiophone made from several dozen dried pig hooves, which are perforated and threaded together, allowing them to produce sound when struck against one another. This ancient musical instrument originates from the Andean region of the Americas and can create either gentle or powerful sounds, depending on how it is played.

Important note: The full version of Kontakt (version 7 or higher) is required to use this instrument. The free Kontakt player will NOT work and will run in demo mode.

1. Download the Kontakt Library files from within your Plugin Boutique User Account.
Note: If your download is a .zip file, please unzip it.
2. Move the folder to a location of your choice.
3. Open Kontakt within your DAW.
4. Open the 'Files' tab and navigate to the location of your new Kontakt library.
5. Click and drag the .nki file into the empty window.
Your Kontakt instrument is now installed and ready to use.
