It’s All About the Sound…
Revolution’s sound engine is powered by many tens of thousands of samples, capturing every possible sound/tone variation and nuance of the original drum machines, along with the subtle differences in behaviour inherent of analogue electronics. Each sound has been carefully recorded via a transformer balanced Radial JDI and brought to line level with a NEVE 1073 / API 512c pre-amp. To retain the full frequency range and dynamics of the original instruments, we carefully matched the peak level of each drum, recording them through mastering grade conversion.

Adding Character
Want to add extra character and punch? Many of the Drum Machines in Revolution have been carefully recorded to analogue tape at multiple saturation levels (via a Studer A820), as well as through a vintage SP-1200 sampler and boutique high-end analogue processing chains...
Revolution’s unique ‘Character’ knob allows you to dial in a desired ‘Character’ for each individual Drum Machine Module. Want a raw sounding, true to the original 808 Bass Drum? Want an analogue tape saturated 909 Snare Drum? How about a gritty SP-1200 processed Linndrum clap? Revolution makes it possible!

Installation / Activation
1. Download the Drumvolution Zip file from your Plugin Boutique User Account > Double-click it to extract the contents.
Note: Be sure to remember the location that you save the Drumvolution folder to - you will need to know this location later in the installation.
2. Download and install the FREE Kontakt Player from the Native Instruments website.
3. Download and install the FREE Native Access application.
4. Open Native Access and log in to your Native Instruments account > Click 'Create a Native Instruments Account' and create one if you don't already have an account.
5. Click 'Add a serial' in the top left corner of Native Access.
6. Enter your serial number, found in your Plugin Boutique User Account > Click 'Add Serial'.
7. Click 'Close'.
8. Click the 'Not Installed' tab on the left of the Native Access window > Navigate to Drumvolution and click 'Add Library'.
9. Click 'Browse' and navigate to the location that you saved Drumvolution to in step 1 > Click 'Install'.
10. Open Kontakt Player > Click and drag any NKI file into the main window to load a patch.
Your software is now activated and ready to use.
Batch Re-Save
Note: Running a batch re-save after installing Drumvolution is highly recommended to speed up load times.
1. With Drumvolution loaded into Kontakt, click the ‘Disk / File’ Icon at the top of Kontakt.
2. Select ‘Batch re-save’.
3. Click ‘Yes’.
4. Navigate and Select the main ‘Drumvolution’ folder. Be sure to choose the same ‘Drumvolution’ folder you referenced before when adding Drumvolution as a library within Kontakt.
You should now see faster loading times when loading your Kontakt Instrument.
