15 Lofi Effects In One Plugin
Stop stacking six plugins to get one dusty loop. TRIO runs 15 hand-coded lofi effects at the same time - inside a single window that never gets in your way.
Built for Mac & Windows, TRIO is not a multi-FX menu where you pick one thing at a time. Every effect runs in series, simultaneously, every time you play a note. The three pages are how you look at the plugin, not how it is wired.

Imagine crushing a loop to 8 bits, drifting it with tape wow, dusting it with gated vinyl noise, warming it through a valve stage, washing it in a lush reverb, freezing a slice, sweeping it through a Juno chorus, throwing it across the stereo field on a ping-pong delay, then gluing the whole thing on a real mastering bus - all in one pass, in one window, without a single routing decision.
Features
15 Effects, All Running At Once:
- Bitcrush, Wow & Flutter, Vinyl, Warmth, Space
- Stutter, Chorus, Dust, Filter LFO, Ping-Pong
- Tape Sat, Tilt EQ, Glue, Tape Wow, Width
- Every effect has its own Mix knob and its own bypass
- No routing, no sends, no second plugin
Three Pages, One Signal Path:
- DREAM - the classic lofi chain: bitcrush, tape wobble, vinyl dust and a room that was never there
- GLITCH - the experimental one: freeze a slice, wash it in Juno chorus, throw it across the field
- MASTER - bus polish with a lofi accent, gentle enough to sit on the mix
- The tabs switch what you see, never what you hear
- All fifteen effects process at the same time, in a fixed, musically ordered chain
Bypass That Actually Saves CPU:
- Every effect lives in its own processing node
- Switching an effect off genuinely stops it computing - it is not mixed to zero and left running
- Run all fifteen, or run three, and your CPU meter will know the difference
- Bypassed effects also grey out their own knobs, so the state is never ambiguous
Noise That Breathes With Your Track:
- Vinyl hiss and crackle, plus granular Dust grains
- Both are gated by an envelope follower on your actual audio
- The noise swells as you play and fades out on a long tail when you stop
- It behaves like surface noise on a record, not a noise generator running underneath one
- No more hiss sitting over your silence
A Juno Chorus Worth Turning On:
- Modelled on the bucket-brigade circuit of a classic 80s synth
- Triangle LFO, not a sine - shallow, wide, and warm
- Bandlimited wet path, because real BBD chips are dark, and that lost top end is the warmth
- No feedback, which is exactly why it stays lush instead of turning metallic
- The right channel runs the inverted sweep, so the two sides drift apart and back together
Real Tape Character:
- Wow and flutter as two separate layers - the slow sway and the faster shimmer over it
- Tape saturation calibrated in real decibels with level-matched output, so more drive means more colour, not more volume
- Asymmetric bias for even-harmonic warmth
- Pre and de-emphasis around the saturation stage, so harmonics land in the midrange where tape actually colours
Movement & Space:
- Stutter captures a short slice and repeats it - slow and long is a stuck record, fast and short is a rhythmic buzz
- Filter LFO sweeps a resonant filter exponentially across the audible range
- Ping-Pong is genuinely stereo - the input enters one side, and the repeats alternate across the field
- Space is a lush stereo reverb, deliberately smoother than everything around it
A Mastering Bus Built In:
- Tape saturation, one-knob tilt EQ, glue compressor with full attack and release
- Mid/side width that keeps the low end mono, so the bass stays solid however wide you go
- Safety limiter with an adjustable ceiling on the output
- Ruin your signal, then make it sit in a mix, without leaving the plugin
100 Presets, 9 Folders:
- 100 factory presets, hand-tuned - no filler and no near-duplicates
- Every single preset uses the whole plugin, not one page of it
- Nine folders: Tape Room, Dream & Wash, Chorus & Shimmer, Motion & Filter, Glitch & Broken, Delay & Space, Extreme, Character, Bus & Master
- From Sunday Tape and Rainy Window to Total Collapse and Blown Speaker
- Loading a preset sets everything at once, so nothing quietly stacks up as you browse
An Interface You Can Actually Read:
- Hand-drawn - every stroke rendered like pencil on paper, no brushed metal and no fake screws
- Full dark mode, one click away
- Hover any control for a plain-English description at the bottom of the window
- Drag a knob to change it, double-click to reset it
- Theme and tooltip settings are stored outside the preset system, so they follow the plugin and not the sound
- Windows: VST / VST3 (64 bit)
- Mac: AU / VST / VST3 (64 bit)
- Windows 7, 8, 10 or above
- 4 GB RAM / 2 GB free space on system drive
