It features transformer-balanced input and output stages and utilizes a diode bridge topology, delivering a warm, vintage sound often associated with iconic British consoles. A specific modification introduced by a renowned mastering studio enhances this compressor’s versatility, particularly for mastering and bus compression applications.

What It’s Good On:

Tone Empire used up to 192k Models that minimize aliasing and have a higher frequency response. The incoming audio is oversampled to run the Ultra X Models. These require more CPU usage for superior quality closest to the original source.
