Massive Collection Of Phrases And Licks
This release has some serious history. When Ueberschall released the original The Resource library, it combined four legendary Ueberschall products that were previously never available as digital downloads. One of those products was Vintage Licks & Phrases. For this title, the Ueberschall team had recorded a massive collection of inspirational musical phrases. These were played on a wide selection of instruments by some top-class studio musicians. After weeks and weeks of editing, Vintage Licks & Phrases was released in 2002.
Real Instruments With Real Character
However, at this time, DVD drives were not common in studios, so Vintage Licks & Phrases was released on CD-ROM box set. Even with 5 CDs, limited space was an issue and, after the editing sessions, huge amounts of fabulous material had to be left out. This material was archived but, unfortunately, over time, it was forgotten. However, through a happy accident, these loops were recently rediscovered, and it was immediately obvious that these ‘lost tapes’ contained some magical material. This includes completely new phrases as well as variations of material that was already released on The Resource. Now, with the flexibility provided by the world of digital downloads, Ueberschall can finally do justice to this material and make it all available as an Elastik library.
Super-flexible Elastik Engine
The Resource – Lost Tapes contains over 11,000 loops and phrases, with 7.5 GB sample data organised across 6 Elastik soundbanks. Instruments include electric bass, saxophone, trumpet, flugelhorn, clavinet, organ, synths, electric guitar, acoustic piano and electric piano. The phrases were originally recorded at 120BPM and are also organised into three keys: a-, d- and e-minor. However, with the power of Elastik, including tempo manipulation and ReTune, it is possible to fine-tune individual loops and to achieve that perfect match to your overall project.
Please Note: The Drums used in the demo are not part of the library! They are taken from our products Disco Tape, Pop Art, Synth Phunk and Jazz Trip.

1. Click 'Download' in your Plugin Boutique User Account or go to https://www.ueberschall.com/login.
2. Enter the relevant details and click 'Register' > Log in if you already have an Ueberschall account.
3. Open your email and locate the verification email > Click the link to verify your account.
4. Navigate to the 'Downloads' tab or head directly to https://www.ueberschall.com/downloads. Download the Elastik and the Ueberschall Downloader by clicking the relevant operating system.
5. Run the installation process > Open the Ueberschall Downloader.
6. Select the folder you wish to have your sound banks installed.
7. Enter the same details you used to sign up for your Ueberschall account > Click "Login".
8. Click 'Add Serial'.
9. Paste in the serial found in your Plugin Boutique User Account > Click 'Register'.
10. Click 'Download'.
11. Click 'Activate Products'.
Your software is now ready to use in Elastik either with the standalone version or in your DAW!
