This year marks an impressive, significant, and maybe even surprising milestone in the world of music production: it’s been thirty years since the VST standard was launched. As part of ‘Cubase VST’, the latest version of Steinberg’s DAW, version 3, provided a framework on which companies would start to build their own, effects, instruments and even MIDI processors.
