Pressure Cooker Studios is an award-winning music and audio studio based in Cape Town, South Africa. Through their work across film, television, advertising and games, they have been developing what they call the Future Cinematic Sound. By drawing on Africa’s deep musical roots and combining them with contemporary production techniques, they are evolving the traditional Western cinematic palette with new textures, rhythms, instruments and voices from their continent.
