Exodus Chromaphone 3 Sound Bank

With Exodus, his second sound pack with AAS, Canadian sound designer Michel Basque draws inspiration from terrestrial exodus towards other worlds such as exoplanets and parallel universes.

Inspired by artificial intelligence, robotization, climate change, and the role humanity plays in all of this, Exodus offers a palette of sounds, sometimes simple and sometimes complex, with particular attention paid to low frequencies, emphasizing a cinematic aesthetic. Great care went into making sure that the macros could be used to inject life and dynamism into each sound.

Exodus features sounds that combine organic, acoustic, and electronic sensibilities, creating atmospheres that are peaceful, ethereal, powerful, and somewhat unusual. Who is Michel Basque?

Michel Basque is a Canadian artist and has been a music composer and sound designer since the beginning of the 80’s, going from lead singer for an underground rock music band to film and TV music composer and multimedia electronic music composer. In 2007, he joined Sonarte, a sample based sound design company, with which he has been developing sound banks for Ableton Live as one of the lead sound designers. He has been collaborating with AAS since 2019.
