A toolkit perfect for scoring, producing electronic styles and meditative music
Komorebi - 木漏れ日 means “sunlight leaking through trees,” this word describes the beauty and wonder of rays of light dappling through overhead leaves, casting dancing shadows on the forest floor.
Komorebi Flutes is a traditional Japanese/Chinese wind instrument, a toolkit perfect for scoring, producing electronic styles and meditative music. Like in traditional Japanese and Chinese mask magic Komorebi Flutes has many “faces” - it can produce a calming “Zen” sound but it also can sound haunting.
Komorebi Flutes includes the Shakuhachi, which is the central force of the instrument, including probably the most articulations ever recorded for a Shakuhachi Kontakt library. Komorebi also includes accompanying flutes like the Bawu, Hulusi and Dizi to colourize the sound and magnify traditional sound spectrums. To add true oriental character to your music Komorebi Flutes also includes various sounds like Shamizen, Guzheng, Orchestral elements, Bells, a mesmerizing Piano, deeply sampled Wind Chimes and FX from real sources like Sea waves, Waterfalls, Rain, Birds and many more.
Each instrument is meticulously sampled to capture every nuance, breath, and articulation, delivering expressive sounds that adapt perfectly to both cinematic scores and modern music production. Together with the 4 sound sources one can phase from one articulation to another.
Whether you're composing for a film, TV, or game, or crafting unique tracks in world music, the Komorebi Flutes provides a range of textures from airy, delicate tones to rich, resonant sounds perfect to add value to your vision.
