Important Note: This is an upgrade path for existing owners of Panorama Guitars. The standard purchase path is also available here.

After the dreamy post-rock and shoegaze soundscapes of Panorama Guitars and Panorama Hybrid, Sonora Cinematic have put the electrics back in the case to explore a world of resonances and quiet reflections.

Introducing… Panorama Acoustic

A deeply-sampled collection of three premium acoustic guitars, played by the exceptionally talented Matteo Nahum, Panorama Acoustic is far more than just another guitar library – after all, it has the Sonora Cinematic touch…

Panorama Acoustic offers an inspiring palette of evocative tones that feel deeply personal and incredibly expressive. Blending intimate, atmospheric warmth with stirring cinematic depth, it’s an invaluable tool for crafting immersive soundscapes or adding subtle, organic textures to your projects.

Experiment with Panorama Acoustic’s extensive articulations or explore its distinctive presets to spark fresh ideas or finally pinpoint that elusive finishing touch for your ambient, indie, folk, or modern singer-songwriter composition. Its warm, expressive tones also make this library ideal for film scoring, game soundtracks, and atmospheric sound design, as well as intimate acoustic productions and ethereal arrangements.

You can also import and play with your own samples for truly limitless possibilities!

Panorama Acoustic features the sounds of three acoustic guitars recorded by the super talented film composer and guitarist Matteo Nahum…

A Steel-String Acoustic – Rich, warm, and full of harmonic depth.

A Nylon-String Guitar – Delicate, expressive, and intimate.

A 12-String Guitar – Ethereal, shimmering, and immersive.

The Aria Engine

At the heart of Panorama Acoustic lies the powerful Aria Engine. Designed for creativity, the engine offers two fully customisable layers, each loaded with the same articulations for you to choose from.

Seamlessly blend between different variants, stack or crossfade layers, assign any parameter to be controlled by either the X or Y axis, modulate filter, volume or panning and much, much more.

Capture your unique artistic expression by recording your own XY motions, store them as presets and adjust their playback speed. What’s more, you can even import your own samples for limitless creativity!

Check out the walkthrough of the Aria Engine in the video here. It uses Aria Vocalscapes but the functionality of the engine remains the same for Panorama Acoustic.

Articulations

From plucked to picked, sparse to dense, there’s plenty of variations in Panorama Acoustic to blend, shape and explore. Experiment with the XY pad and discover how you can move smoothly from a delicate plucked sound to a picked tone with a much sharper attack. It’s brilliant for inspiring new musical ideas!

Naturally, you’ll find many-single stroke sounds in Panorama Acoustic, but, compared to its electric counterpart, there’s a much greater focus on IMPRO articulations. These organic, free-tempo one-note improvisations are great for creating depth and textural movement in more ambient arrangements.

This library also goes another step further than its electric counterpart by introducing IMPRO articulations featuring fifth and octave improvisations, unlocking seriously stunning, cinematic soundscapes.

Presets

Panorama Acoustic features over 100 curated presets divided into six categories…

  • Impros Natural – a collection of natural evolving improvisations, further divided between single notes and root/fifth/octave.
  • Impros Processed – same concept as the Natural category but with an emphasis on more ambient processing. You'll find plenty of great textural, cinematic sounds in here.
  • Motions – the patches that use the automatic motion feature for the XY pad.
  • Single Strokes – more ‘regular’ acoustic guitar patches with some very interesting, stacked sounds.
  • Sound Design – it wouldn’t be a true Sonora Cinematic library without some sound design thrown in! Discover ebow sounds, granular processing and more.
  • Tremolos – unique to Panorama Acoustic, tremolos have been added to two of the acoustic guitars – great for a variety of writing and producing scenarios.
