Drip

Drip is a collection of over 600 glitchy, organic, cutting, hollow, and razor-sharp percussive samples. Each sound comes from anachronistic signal sources like antique radios and turntables, then chopped, spliced and treated with modern analog effects.

Drip is perfect for minimalist, subdued electronic music, but it can just as easily turn aggressive, sharp, and deeply nuanced.

Soundiron carefully programmed the entire collection into a powerful instrument interface for Kontakt, Decent Sampler, and SFZ. Each drum kit includes sound bank selection along with essential sound shaping and mixing controls, RAM efficient sample loading and unloading, and our built in convolution effects with a wide range of acoustic spaces and experimental FX impulses.

Early prototypes of this library were originally released in two volumes, Drip and Resin, by JunoVHS in 2014. For this edition, Soundiron gathered and expanded the collection with a large amount of new content and features, turning it into a complete pseudo instrumental toolkit.

Shape the sound your way

You can use our intuitive UI controls to customize the sound to your needs, with layer-specific controls for swell, attack, release, tightness, tuning, vibrato, articulation selection, an optional sub-synth waveform underlay module for tonal reinforcement.

Go beyond the glitch

Shape movement and tone with a flexible LFO system offering selectable waveforms, assignable targets, tempo sync, and fade-in control. Choose from 13 filters and modulate them with velocity, mod wheel, expression, aftertouch, key position, or the step sequencer.

Powerful fx rack with 27 dsp effects

The interface is rounded-out by our modular FX rack panel, with 27 different DSP effect modules that you can assign in any of 8 available slots, in any order that you wish. You’ll find classic phaser, flanger, delay, distortion, amp and cab simulators, compressors, EQ, rotator and so much more.
