The classic Steinway D Piano & brand new hybrid sounds

Muze Dione is one of the most realistic, organic, and warm-sounding acoustic pianos ever created.

Dione was sampled in a beautiful-sounding room with unique detail and realism.

The piano is based on the Steinway D-274 Concert Grand. D-274 is the flagship of the Steinway & Sons piano company, first built in 1884. It is a favorite instrument for musicians like Sergei Rachmaninoff, Vladimir Horowitz, Alfred Brendel, and many others.

The team at Muze recorded the pianos using only top-end microphones and preamps in Eleon Media Studio, Italy.

Muze carefully sampled each key chromatically, with the best microphones (DPA, Neumann, etc.), and in a beautiful-sounding room, paying attention to each minuscule detail.
