Evolve Air Lite is a sample-based synthesizer that captures the atmospheric and ethereal, shaped by breathy textures, wind instruments, and spacious atmospheres. From airy vocals and soft woodwinds to hollow brass, filtered noise, and evolving pads, Evolve Air Lite blends fragile sonic moments into something intimate yet intangible, half-there, floating at the edge of the ethereal.

Evolve Air Lite delivers 75 presets filled with longing, including distant vocal phrases, ghostly pads, foggy melodic motifs, and vast cinematic spaces, giving you an emotional palette that feels weightless and alive. Whether you’re writing ambient compositions, scoring to picture, producing leftfield electronica, or designing immersive soundscapes, Air brings depth, movement, and atmosphere to whatever you’re building.

Inspired by experimental and ambient innovators like Tim Hecker, Jon Hopkins, Brian Eno, and Oneohtrix Point Never, Evolve Air Lite is built to give any track an instant sense of space and emotion.

Four Dimensions of Sound

The source of Evolve Air Lite's sounds is its quad-layer engine. Each of the four layers can house either a sample-based instrument from a selection of 125 sources, or a synth oscillator. 

Sampled sources give you play direction, tone and keytracking parameters to play with, while synth sources get an oscillator shape slider and unison detuning. Control the Pitch and Fine tuning, plus Velocity Sensitivity, Panning and Volume for any sound.

Click the dice of any layer to choose a sample at random or roll the dice in the header to randomise the whole plugin, including sound sources, sound parameters and effects.

Use the XY Pad in "Sounds Mode" to blend between the four sound sources or use it in "FX mode" to modulate any available parameter in the instrument.

Effects for Texture and Character

Four main macro effects have been crafted specifically to shape the output of Air: Mist adds a layer of noise to introduce grain and texture, Drift stacks two layers gently oscillating pitch modulation for slow, floating movement, Frost applies a shimmering, pristine delay that freezes the audio in time, and Cloud wraps your sound in a long, low-passed reverb that softens the highs and turns everything ethereal.
