The Italian Orchestra, Reimagined.
A new family of Italian orchestral instruments designed for modern composers and created entirely in Italy. The first release, Sinphonica Maestosa Strings, combines a 60-piece Italian string orchestra with innovative performance technologies designed for natural musical expression.
Recorded in Milan at the legendary Officine Meccaniche Studios, Sinphonica brings together exceptional Italian musicians, meticulous sampling, and a new generation of expressive performance technologies.
Inspired by Italy's rich artistic tradition, Sinphonica approaches the virtual orchestra not as a collection of samples, but as a musical instrument designed to preserve the humanity, movement, and expression of a living orchestra.
Rather than simply reproducing orchestral sounds, Sinphonica gives composers the freedom to shape every performance with remarkable realism and expression.
Introducing Maestosa Strings
The first chapter of the Sinphonica platform is Maestosa Strings, a complete 60-piece symphonic string orchestra featuring 16 First Violins, 14 Second Violins, 12 Violas, 10 Cellos, and 8 Double Basses.
Recorded at Officine Meccaniche Studios with a carefully assembled ensemble of outstanding Italian orchestral musicians, Maestosa captures not only the sound of an orchestra, but also the interaction, movement, and emotion that make every performance unique.
Available as either the complete collection or as individual string sections, Maestosa Strings gives composers the flexibility to start with the instruments they need today while providing a seamless path to build a complete orchestral collection over time.
Features
- Violins II. 14 players.
Sculpt Performance, Not Programming
Some instruments reproduce an orchestra. Sinphonica lets composers shape one.
Modern orchestral libraries often ask composers to spend as much time programming as making music. Sinphonica takes a different approach.
Responsive True Legato styles, Articulation Morphing, customizable articulation mapping, Dynamic Curve control, the PALCO virtual stage positioning system, eight microphone perspectives, cinematic textures, and integrated ensemble patches combine to deliver a fluid, expressive playing experience that keeps creativity flowing from the first sketch to the final score.
From the expression of a single note to the placement of an entire orchestra, Sinphonica gives composers the freedom to sculpt every aspect of a performance rather than simply selecting articulations.
As additional orchestral families are introduced, they will become part of the expanding Sinphonica ecosystem, sharing the same expressive philosophy and performance-driven workflow.
