PMC60

PMC60 is a faithful digital emulation of the Lexicon PCM-60 Digital Reverberator, one of the most recognisable studio reverbs of the early 1980s. Rather than approximating the effect with a generic reverb algorithm or impulse responses, PMC60 reproduces the original program structures and processing behaviour, capturing the depth, density, and musical decay that made the hardware a studio staple. Modern conveniences such as Pre-delay with tempo sync, RT Extend, Tone shaping, and reverb ducking are added around that core so the plugin sits naturally in contemporary sessions while preserving the character of the unit.

• Original-Style Contour: Bass and Treble switches shape decay and output tone in ways derived from the PCM-60 front panel — warm, slightly dark, and easy to place in a mix.
• RT Extend: Continuously pushes feedback beyond the factory Reverb Time presets for longer, more atmospheric tails.
• Pre-delay with Tempo Sync: Up to 250 ms of pre-delay, with a metronome toggle to lock to host tempo at musical divisions from 1/2 down to 1/64T, including dotted and triplet values.
• Tone Tilt EQ: Independent input-side tilt EQ that darkens or brightens the signal entering the reverb tank, separate from the Bass/Treble contour switches.
• Built-in Ducking: Duck Amount and Duck Time controls automatically attenuate the reverb tail when the dry input is loud and let it bloom back in quieter moments — no external sidechain needed.
• Insert-Friendly Controls: Input, Mix, and Output level controls make PMC60 equally practical on aux sends or as a track insert.
