The Herd V2

Parallel Compression Gone Wild.

The Herd V2 is three compressors in one box - and you can run them together.

Opto, VCA and Devil each have their own character and their own on/off LED, so you can stack a smooth optical squeeze under a snappy VCA grab, then let Devil loose when you want the whole thing to misbehave. Shared Attack and Release keep the herd moving together, Tone shapes the character going in, and Mid/Side processing lets you compress the centre and the sides by different amounts. Gain-reduction metering with IN / GR / OUT switching shows you exactly how hard you are working, and Blend rides the compressed signal back under the dry one - so you can smash for character and punch, then keep every transient.

Great on drums, lead vocals, bass and mix buses whenever you need extra energy.
