Ampknob Duet is inspired by a classic 1960s amp that defined jazz, blues, surf rock, classic country, and 70s funk. If a sound could be described as "expensive-smelling cologne", this would be it.

Duet is pristine, massive, and crystal-clear. Steadfastly resistant to distorting, it adds an extra dimension to every note and has to be pushed hard to achieve overdrive. It sounds like your guitar, only more.

Be warned: with an attack that feels tactile, punchy, and immediate, this amp doesn’t hide your mistakes; it broadcasts them in high definition.

True to its counterpart’s mythical status as a pedal platform, the Ampknob Duet will take anything you throw at it just like the real thing. Be it fuzz, compression, or a clean boost - go nuts and make those emulated tubes work!

Vibrato and Reverb

Spring reverb, warm tube-bias-inspired tremolo, and an authentic studio room ambience will make you never want to put your guitar down.

The Duet also includes a stereo room sound to give that "amp in the room" feeling.

Three cabs

Included are three perfectly matched cabs: a matched one that works as one with the amp, and two alternative cabs, giving you instant mix-ready tone without compromise.

You also get the option of loading up your favorite IR from the Bogren IR packs or any other IR of your choice.

PLUG IN, ROCK OUT

As with all Bogren Digital’s Ampknob series plugins, the three Ampknob BDM plugins are extremely easy to use and provide a distraction-free path to album-ready sounds. Jens Bogren has poured his 20+ years of experience into crafting sounds that just work, allowing you to focus on the music.

IRDX INCLUDED

The cabinet section of all three plugins is powered by Bogren Digital’s IRDX technology, which adds a true-to-life dynamic response to the included speaker models. In fact, IRDX affects any cabinet IR you load into the plugins, so they will have a more vivid and dynamic response compared to using them in your standard IR loader.

STANDALONE VERSIONS

All three amps come in standalone versions in addition to the plugins you can run within your DAW. This allows you to fire up an amp sim fast when you just want to play or practice without launching your DAW. 

The standalone versions include a metronome and a very handy riff recorder — so when your noodling results in a killer riff, you can capture it on the spot without launching your DAW and setting up tracks. When you’re done, just drag the sound file into your DAW to add other instruments, etc. The riff recorder is also great for practicing with the built-in metronome. Both the plugin and standalone versions include a tuner and a noise gate.
