Brightness Panner 2 turns the frequency content of your sound into movement. Use brightness, pitch, or MIDI notes and bring your tracks to life with dynamic, responsive motion — all without drawing automation. From stereo to 3D audio, it fits naturally into your workflow.
Your melody already knows where it wants to go.
Brightness Panner 2 reads spectral brightness, pitch, or incoming MIDI notes and turns any of them directly into pan position, so a sound's own color drives where it sits in the field, instead of a curve you drew by hand. Match the trigger to what's actually happening in the track: a synth line's melody, a vocal's shifting timbre, a MIDI performance driving the mix in real time. No automation lane needed, because the sound already carries the movement.

What's new
Independent Paths
- Point-to-Point now gives every input channel a fully independent path — on top of the Speaker-to-Point and Point-to-Speaker modes you already know.
Multiple Views
- Visualize your sound movement in real time across three views — the familiar Circular, our typical Polygon, or the new Room View. Switch anytime.
Built-in Mixer
- No more tabbing back to your DAW mixer — balance each output channel right inside Brightness Panner 2. As easy as it gets.
Virtual Center
- Reserve the center channel for your lead vocal, redistributing all other content to left and right, with no audible gap. That's Virtual Center.
Custom Formats
- Define your own custom speaker setup down to the last detail — channel count, azimuth, elevation, and LFE position.
Multichannel Support
- Wider I/O support means Brightness Panner 2 slots into all major standard formats — mono, stereo, surround, or immersive.
Features
Panning Driven by Frequency
- Choose how movement gets triggered: by the brightness of the signal, by the pitch of your sound, or directly from MIDI notes.

Panning Modes
- Use Pan Mode for a ping-pong-style effect, or Sliding Mode to create continuous movement along a defined path.

Movement Direction
- Whether you want your sound to move toward a single point, follow a custom path, or rotate in a circle, you’re in control.

Absolute Control
- Fine-tune exactly when and how fast the movement responds, based on your selected mode.

Sidechain Input
- What if your saxophone's panning reacted to your lead vocal's brightness, in real time? With sidechain, it does.

Unlimited Presets Generator
- One click, endless combinations. The Random Dice you already know.
