Time is a creative time stretcher and buffer shuffler. Previously designed exclusively for BEAM, Lunacy’s multi-effects engine, Time is now offered as a standalone effect plugin.  

Time features intuitive sequencers and controls for real-time audio manipulation. Create your own tempo-synced patterns for speed, position, and pitch using state-of-the-art stretching algorithms, and easily combine the Time node with other BEAM effects for the ultimate sound design experience.

Tame the tempo

Build complex sequences to alter the speed of your incoming audio. Use up to 16 unique sections for tempo-synced textural stretching and tape stopping.

Shuffle the deck

Rearrange the position and direction of your incoming audio to shuffle and reverse your buffer.

Twist the pitch

Draw arpeggiated tonal sequences and create timbral stretch effects with Lunacy’s proprietary Texture mode, allowing you to control your real-time audio's speed and pitch independently. 

Build the ultimate sonic circuit

Combine the Time node with other BEAM effects for maximum sound design magic. Use up to 3 Time nodes at once in serial or parallel.

• Timestretch Algorithms: Toggle between Resample mode for classic pitch and speed stretching, and Texture mode for controlling the pitch and speed independently
• Freeze: Freeze the incoming audio in the current cycle.
