Pay once, get infinite mixes
Unlike AI tools, Finalist is buy-to-own and runs in realtime on your own machine. Hear your changes instantly without waiting for cloud services. Mix millions of tracks without subscriptions or credits.

For those who hate mixing…
Mix with your ears and heart. No technical knowledge needed. Finalist’s deep audio analysis and automated mixing engine do the hard bit, leaving just the aesthetic decisions to you.

…And those who love it too
Manual mixing takes hours of fine-tuning. Finalist is a rapid prototyping playground for auditioning entirely different mix approaches in seconds.
Mixing for a client? Take a few minutes to share 5 different directions from Finalist to make sure you’re aligned on what they want - and get a feel for the source material in the process.
Road-tested and ready
Finalist has been used to mix and master hundreds of tracks released on streaming services and delivered to clients.
Instant results, hidden depths
With 40 varied mix presets, there will always be one that works for your material, as well as many ways to tweak it to your taste. Strength and gain knobs give you extra control over each group. Module locks allow you to lock individual modules to different presets.
Achieve the impossible
Finalist’s revolutionary integrated multi-channel multi-band architecture makes the impossible possible:
Mathematically perfect, artefact-free stem separation
Output stems that sum perfectly to your master without relying on flawed stem separation algorithms. Release your music as stems on services like Beatport with full confidence it will always sound the way it’s supposed to.
Get loud with node limiters
Pushing Finalist’s output gain above +3dB activates a network of limiters operating at over 20 nodes in the signal chain. Limiter nodes deal with peaks locally without degrading the rest of the signal for more loudness and clarity.
Turn a great mix into a recipe
If you dial in a great mix in Finalist, the chances are it’ll be a great starting point for your next mix. Finalist’s ‘Create Template’ functionality transforms your perfect mix into a template DAW file. Got a new track to mix? Fire up your template, drop your new stems on Finalist and teleport straight to your favourite settings.
Packed with power under the hood
Finalist’s mix engine was developed from the ground up to respond to the 300 data points it extracts from your audio during the analysis process. Analog warmth emulation, mid-side processing, multiband dynamics, transient-shaping, clipper-limiters and more. All reimagined to play a part in remapping your source material to the targets set in each mix preset.
Built by indie developers
Finalist was built by Tim Exile with graphic design help from Efflam Le Bivic. Both are former Native Instruments collaborators and lifelong innovators now working independently.
Finalist handles up to 32 stems and supports MacOS 11-15 (Apple Silicon and Intel) and Windows 10-11 via Native Instruments’ free Reaktor Player.

Installing Reaktor Instruments
Please note: SLOO is used as the example
-
Install Reaktor or Reaktor Player version 6.2 or higher via Native Access
-
Move the zip file of the third-party product to a meaningful folder on your hard drive. It is important not to move the folder after this step. We suggest creating a dedicated folder to place all your third-party Reaktor products. In our example we have created a folder named "My Third Party Reaktor Products" in the following location and have moved the product's zip folder to it:
-
Mac: Macintosh HD > Users > Shared > My Reaktor Third Party Products
-
Windows: C: > Users > Public > Documents > Public Documents > My Reaktor Third Party Products
-
-
Unzip the downloaded file. This will create a new folder containing your third-party Reaktor product. In our example, we are setting up SLOO by Tim Exile.
-
Start Native Access > click Add Serial
-
Enter the serial number found in your Plugin Boutique Library (named License) > click Enter
-
Click Locate
Note: If you click Later, you can use the New tab on the left to locate the product.
-
Click the folder symbol to choose the location of your product.
-
Navigate to the product's folder > select the folder > click Open
-
Click Confirm
-
Open Reaktor. The product now appears in the Player section of the Reaktor Browser
