Overview

Relooper generates new grooves from your loops in real-time, then mixes 2 of them with your original loop. You can transform the new groove layers, morphing the characteristics, adding effects, and modulating the level, generating new, creative, and inspiring loops. It breathes new life into existing loop collections and ignites inspiration when creating new loops. Relooper syncs to the host tempo and works completely in real-time, generating new grooves from whatever you feed it.

Groove

The heart of Relooper is the groove engine. It stores slices of the incoming audio in its buffer and plays them back at various speeds, directions, positions, and lengths. All of this is done in real-time without the need to load any samples, resulting in instant creative inspiration. The new grooves can range from stuttering and repeating, remixing and rearranging, repatching and reversing, to all-out glitching.

Profile

Morph your sound into one of 64 profiles, taking on the characteristics of other sounds. Add interest with complex resonators and 3D space profiles. Morph into various drum sounds, including kick, snare, hats, and many percussion types. Or resynthesize your grooves by sending MIDI notes to the plugin.

Effect

Apply FX to your layer with 64 effects to choose from. Get creative with various distortion types, reverb, and SFX. Add movement with modulation and sweeping filters. Or shape the sound with useful tools such as compressors, gates, transient shapers, and EQ. Simply select one from the list and then dial in the amount. It's super fast and easy, keeping you in your creative flow.

Motion

Control the overall feel and flow of the groove, with 120 level modulation modes. You can use it to silence the groove and only let it play at the end of bars to work as an auto-fill generator. Or choose from various LFO shapes to add more creative movement and interest. There are also trance-gate style rhythms and sidechain-style pumping effects.
