• FOUR-IN-ONE ANALOG WORKBENCH: The VWB-1X combines four of BRA’s vintage-modeled processors into a single integrated channel strip. By merging filtering, equalization, and tube compression into one cohesive interface, the plug-in creates a streamlined signal path that mirrors a classic analog studio workflow. Instead of managing multiple plug-ins in a chain, engineers can shape tone, control dynamics, and refine frequency balance within a unified environment. • AUTHENTIC VINTAGE FILTERS & EQ: The VWB-1X incorporates faithful circuit emulations of classic analog filtering and passive equalization designs. Carefully modeled high-pass and low-pass filters allow precise control over unwanted frequencies, while the musical response of the equalizers provides smooth tonal shaping without harsh artifacts.

• CHARACTER-DRIVEN TUBE COMPRESSION: At the heart of the VWB-1X lies Black Rooster Audio’s VTC-2 tube compressor. • FLEXIBLE SIGNAL ROUTING: The VWB-1X allows the compressor to be placed either before or after the equalization stages, giving you full control over the signal flow. Compressing before EQ stabilizes dynamics prior to tonal shaping, while placing compression after EQ lets frequency adjustments influence the compressor’s response. This routing flexibility mirrors the workflow of professional analog channel strips.

• ADVANCED STEREO AND MID/SIDE PROCESSING: The VWB-1X provides advanced stereo processing for modern mixing and mastering tasks. Stereo Link mode keeps left and right channels processed coherently, preserving a stable stereo image. Mid/Side mode allows independent processing of the center and stereo width components, making it easy to refine spatial balance and stereo depth.

• UNIFIED VU METERING: A large central VU meter offers clear visual feedback for accurate gain staging. It can display input level, output level, or gain reduction depending on the selected monitoring mode. This unified metering helps maintain optimal signal levels throughout the processing chain.
