Dedicated Transient Lane EQ

Dedicated input & output EQ for each of the 3 transient lanes is at the core of Liminal's workflow. Input EQ can be used to further target your processing within lanes - such as removing low frequencies from the sidechain to exclusively process snare hits that are the same volume as kicks. Output EQ is traditional EQ that affects the tone of your audio - individually adjustable per lane without taking up an effect slot. Alongside inter-band sidechain compression, this allows you to dramatically rebalance your sound before even touching Liminal's effects.

• Liminal detects transient amplitude through your choice of percussive, sustain, or adaptive modes, making it a breeze to target & process your audio quickly. Additional deep editing of parameters like lookahead & sensitivity are available for precision control.

Intuitive Routing Matrix

• Each of the 3 transient lanes can be routed through 0, 1, 2, or all 3 FX slots. The FX can run in parallel or in series, all 3 lanes can be muted or soloed, & lanes can also be level adjusted for dramatic reshaping of your source audio. Complete with I/O level & mix controls.

9+ Professional Effects

• Bitcrush, delay, flanger (great for chorusing), grain, overdrive, pitch (with stereo detune), reverb, repeater, & waveshaper (extreme distortion) - in addition to dedicated EQ per-lane, sidechain compression, & even a latching Performance Mode.

• Liminal comes with dozens of presets dialed by pros so you can find a good starting point for your personal productions. We've also made it easy to categorize your own presets, & you can even randomize all parameters to find some (admittedly, probably pretty weird) inspiration.
