Downgrade - digital lo-fi processor
Downgrade is a digital lo-fi processor plugin for KORG prologue, minilogue xd, NTS-1, NTS-1 mkII, NTS-3 and microKORG2. This effect runs sample rate and bit depth reduction algorithms that change the input signal’s resolution in time and amplitude domains. This degrades its sound quality, introducing frequency aliasing and quantization noise associated with vintage digital equipment. The plugin also features a gate envelope for eliminating static input noise.
