OTTX

OTTX is a multiband dynamics processor combining aggressive upward and downward compression with per-band waveshaping. It splits your signal into three bands (Low, Mid, High) using phase-coherent 24 dB/octave Linkwitz-Riley crossover filters, then applies independent upward and downward compression to each band with optional Inflator-style waveshaping for added harmonic density and loudness. Features include a mix knob for parallel compression, Smart Clip for 0 dB ceiling limiting, sidechain high-pass filtering, smooth RMS detection mode, and per-band gain reduction metering.

• 3-Band Upward & Downward Compression: Independent upward compression (brings up quiet parts) and downward compression (pushes down loud parts) per band, each scalable from 0–200% for subtle dynamics control to extreme squashing.
• Per-Band Inflator Waveshaping: Adds harmonic density and perceived loudness to each band without traditional clipping. Subtle at low values, increasingly aggressive higher up — a powerful alternative to standard saturation.
• Phase-Coherent Crossover: 24 dB/octave Linkwitz-Riley filters split the signal at two adjustable frequencies (Low/Mid: 28–148 Hz, Mid/High: 2000–3000 Hz) for clean, artifact-free bandsplitting.
• Per-Band Threshold, Ratio & Gain: Independent threshold offset (0–200%), downward compression ratio (0–200%), and makeup gain (-40 to +6 dB) per band for precise control over the dynamics of each frequency range.
• Parallel Compression Mix: Wet/dry blend (0–100%) lets you mix processed and dry signal for parallel compression techniques — keeping transients intact while adding density.
• Smart Clip 0dB: Soft-clipping followed by hard-limiting at 0 dB prevents output from exceeding digital full-scale, keeping your signal clean even when pushing hard.
• Sidechain High-Pass Filter: Filters low frequencies (0–200 Hz) from the compressor's detection circuit to prevent sub-bass pumping without affecting the audio path.
• Smooth Mode: Enables RMS detection and soft knee compression for smoother, more transparent dynamics processing — ideal for mastering or less aggressive applications.
• Global Attack & Release Scaling: Scale attack and release times for all bands simultaneously (0–200%) for quick overall dynamics adjustments.
