Using NMF (non-negative matrix factorization) source separation, Pro DeBleed suppresses the hi-hat and cymbal spill captured by your snare mic — without degrading the drum itself.

Whether you want “aggressive removal at some cost to fidelity” — ideal for heavy post-processing or extracting trigger signals — or “natural, quality-preserving suppression” that sounds like it was tracked with advanced separation technique, you dial it in by hand while monitoring in real time and watching the result.

Add one-shots at the tail. Get a kit-tailored dictionary.

Append a few hits of each drum at the end of each mic's consolidated file — recorded with the exact same setup. Pro DeBleed detects this region automatically and builds a dictionary specific to your kit, sharpening separation further.

• Leave a few seconds of silence after the performance, then start recording
• Strike kick / snare / toms / hi-hat / ride, etc. one at a time, a few hits each
• Keep every mic in the same position as the performance and record all of them
• Trim the tail after export — it never reaches the final stem

Separation still works without one-shots (the engine auto-falls back).
