Trident Mk III Synthesizer

Cherry Audio's Trident Mk III synthesizer is a stunning virtual instrument that meticulously revives the sonic capabilities of the original 1981 and 1982 Trident Mk I and Mk II hardware synths. It not only replicates the multitimbral experience of the original but exponentially enhances it, offering an unparalleled combination of innovation and authenticity.

Cherry Audio has meticulously recreated each section of the original Trident hardware — the sweeping Synth, the bold Brass, and the stirring Strings — and enhanced the entire ensemble with additional features. The voice count has been increased to 16 for each section, and now includes velocity sensitivity and aftertouch, as well as support for polyphonic aftertouch.

The lower panels for Keyboard, Motion (a new feature), and Effects have been significantly expanded to include a virtual studio of tools that enhance this "orchestra-in-a-box" experience like never before. These features include drag-and-drop zones and quick templates for splits and layers, a DAW-friendly 16x2 polyphonic step sequencer, and dual arpeggiators. Trident also features 17 studio-quality effects that can now be arranged and reused within its four effects chains. These effects include the original BBD flanger, a compressor, a lo-fi effect, a phaser, a ring modulator, a 7-band EQ, and various delays and reverbs, including the new Lushverb.

ODC 2800

Cherry Audio’s ODC 2800 is a modern virtual instrument that celebrates the legacy of synth pioneer Alan R. Pearlman, marking the 100th anniversary of his birth. Yellowjacket

Yellowjacket synthesizer is a stunning value-packed tribute to the venerable Wasp synthesizer, released by the British synth company EDP in 1978. Cherry Audio has reproduced the singular buzzy tone and drone of this legendary monophonic, digital/analog hybrid, from its quirky oscillators to its distinctive filter. Further influenced by the pioneering spirit of its inventors, they've added several innovative features to Yellowjacket, reenvisioning what could have been. These include elements of other EDP instruments, unison and 16-voice polyphony, emulation of the Wasp's integrated speaker, an expanded multimode filter, and a new-to-Cherry advanced arpeggiator with probability and humanise controls.

Cherry Audio has replicated the look of the notorious touch-capacitive yellow and black keyboard of the original, enhanced it with diatonic scales and transpose, and extended it with customizable pressure control with support for expressive channel and polyphonic aftertouch.

Perhaps the most exciting feature of Yellowjacket is directly inspired by EDP's innovative pre-MIDI system that allowed multiple synths to be chained together: multi-voice modes that add adjustable "mini synths" that can provide subtle or extreme variation in tone, single-fingered chords and arpeggiated patterns, lush stereo effects, and more.

KR-55C Drum Machine

Cherry Audio's KR-55C is a supercharged, best-of-both-worlds software emulation that combines features from two lesser-known drum machines of the post-punk era: Korg's "Rhythm 55" KR-55A and KR-55B. KR-55C boasts all the rhythms from both models, for a total of 240 factory patterns, intros, and fills. Additionally, it adds 200 original patterns and kits that cover a wider range of genres. KR-55C's user interface shifts based on whether the A or B model is selected and includes extra pages that let this beatbox "step out" even further. It features a familiar X0X-style 16-button layout for step-editing and real-time pattern programming, as well as a song mode for chaining up to 99 patterns. 

Cherry Audio has flawlessly recreated the sounds of the KR-55 using various synthesis techniques, providing users with editable parameters such as tuning and EQ for each instrument. The mixer and effects sections allow for separate processing of each sound, with features including panning, mute/solo, overdrive, flanger/chorus, delay, and reverb. It also includes a bus compressor and limiter for master amplitude control. KR-55C offers DAW-friendly features such as auto-sync, drag-and-drop MIDI export, individual outputs, and complete automation capabilities.

Cherry Audio's first virtual drum machine --accurately recreates the punchy analog sounds and 34 onboard preset rhythms of the first true classic drum machine and takes it much further. Harmonia
