What’s new in version 5

100 new synths and extended possibilities

Version 5 is the biggest leap in the series to date. UVI have added a massive 100 new hardware synthesizers, for a total of 300 in all, each captured with the same hands-on attention to detail you've come to expect. With the new synths come 1,000+ new sound layers, 16,000+ new samples, and over 300 new creative presets to explore.

Synth Anthology 5 also features a new optimized engine with numerous feature updates, including two new analog-modeled filters (Ladder and VCF4023), a new Analog Drift control for dialing in vintage character, polyphonic mode and per-step repeats in the sequencer, and an extensive library of mode-specific sequencer presets.

Each layer is fully editable, providing deep sound design potential, and with a truly massive library of hardware synths on-hand, the possibilities are endless.

Advanced Modulation

Synth Anthology 5 delivers a powerful modulation system allowing everything from subtle to extreme movement to be freely added and customized across a wide range of parameters. Choose between a number of sources including two flexible LFOs, two multi-step modulators with variable smoothing, velocity, and modwheel, each assignable through a handy parameter-based editor.

Find the perfect sound for your project from among thousands with the proximity explorer, a smart suggestion system that analyzes the sonic attributes of the currently loaded sound and compares it against the entire Synth Anthology 5 library, immediately providing another 8 sound options to explore and remix. Infinitely Expressive

The magic of vintage hardware lives in its imperfection. The new Analog Drift control lets you dial that character in explicitly, breaking the illusion of digital perfection for warmth at lower settings and genuine instability as you push it. Drift joins the main-page macro bar, now with six controls, each redesigned as a distinct symbolic knob, putting instant character within reach. Native MPE support gives this new generation of controllers extended expression right out of the box, while deep modwheel integration keeps live performance a touch away.
