With a back catalogue of releases on labels such as Hot Creations, Desolat and Rawthentic, the work of Demuir is a staple of the house scene. With a life focused around music since his first forays into production as a teenager, his new pack for Beatport Sounds, ‘Demuir YYZ’ pays homage to his lifelong digging habits, offering a diverse range of club-ready sounds.


Exhausting every piece of kit in his studio includes extensive use of Akai's MPC X, Moog Sub 37, Arturia's Micro Freak, Mini Brute, Matrix Brute, and previous projects in Propellerhead's Reason, YYZ Underground dives deep into Demuir’s personal process and influences.


Featuring beats and samples personally requested by the Toronto artist’s international fanbase, Demuir YYZ oozes the heritage of house via eclectic loops, one-shots and midi. Diverse, sensual percussion provides the basis for deeply funky bass and liquid synth work with a fresh, analogue feel.
