Introducing Waajeed - Dirt Tech Reck, a meticulously crafted collection of loops, stabs, and rhythms that has been two decades in the making. Proudly presented by Beatport Sounds, this pack features some of Waajeed's inherited and developed techniques from the past, present, and where he sees himself going in the future. The samples included reflect many genres Waajeed has touched upon in his career including funk, hip-hop, soul, and house music.

Waajeed is a producer, DJ, and educator, hailing from The Motor City Detroit. A founding member of Slum Village and Platinum Pied Pipers, has found him continuously innovating throughout the spectrum of sound for over two decades. Comfortable with both hip-hop crews and avant-garde installations, his main missive is authenticity, embodied by his label Dirt Tech Reck. Currently, he is the co-founder of Underground Music Academy, a Detroit-based music hub aimed at mentoring multi-generational skill-sharing.

Waajeed - Dirt Tech Reck includes a plethora of sounds that seamlessly fit into any production. With deep basslines, steady drums, synthesizers, live instruments such as strings and brass, and keys such as pianos, clavinets, and organs, there are no limitations to the sonic possibilities.
