Slide Guitar captures the organic, raw and intimate character of the resonator guitar at its soulful best. The loop pack provides a huge collection of classic acoustic slide licks suitable for various styles of Blues, Bluegrass or old-school Country. Whether it’s a song or cinematic project, these performances can take you from the swamps of the delta to the dust of the desert in an instant. Slide Guitar lets you easily add the soul and character of a resonator guitar.

Laid-Back Acoustic Slide Licks

As part of Ueberschall's Instrument Series, Slide Guitar contains 1.6 GB of sample data comprising nearly 500 individual resonator slide guitar loops and phrases. The original tempos vary between 92 and 128 BPM. However, the performances focus on a laid-back, half-time feel, and Elastik’s powerful tempo features allow you to achieve a perfect match whatever the exact tempo of your host project.

Full Of Character And Atmosphere

The guitar loops are organized into 10 key and tempo-based folders, played with either glass or steel bottleneck slides. Within each of these folders, up to 18 related performance loops are available. Individual phrases are up to 28 seconds in length. With phrases that can easily be linked, and suitable ending phrases included, the loops can easily be combined to build full-length performances. For additional flexibility, each performance loop is supplied in three different versions. The Pickup versions were recorded using the guitars built-in pickup, while the Mic versions were recorded via a microphone. The FX version provides a blend of the pickup and microphone with some additional effects added, ready to drop straight into your project for instant results.

Slide Guitar is a perfect complement to the Delta Blues construction kit library. It would also work well alongside the Pedal Steel, Blues Guitar, Resonator Guitar and Country Loops titles. Slide Guitar lets you put some serious mood into your next song or cinematic soundtrack project. Whether it’s for conventional acoustic Blues, or to add a Blues element to some Country, Folk or Pop projects, Slide Guitar lets you easily add the soul and character of a resonator guitar at its atmospheric best.

Slide Guitar is optimized for the Elastik loop player. In addition to high-quality pitch-shifting, time-stretching, and scale-syncing, it offers extensive creative sound design tools such as resampling, formant, reverse, and a multimode filter. The tag-based browser manages all soundbanks together, making it easy to combine different loop packs.

Attention: The library does not include the drums and bass used in the demo track! They are taken from a separate Ueberschall pack, Delta Blues.
