Lhafára is the name of an ancient Maleku instrument believed to communicate with the great spirit, the earth, and humanity. When played with respect and knowledge, it produces oracular words. This aerophone represents the sound of the wind, thunder, and strength. It is made solely from the heartwood of ojoche (a type of tree) and is hand-carved and polished with cocoa butter over a fire.

Important note: The full version of Kontakt (version 7 or higher) is required to use this instrument. The free Kontakt player will NOT work and will run in demo mode.

1. Download the Kontakt Library files from within your Plugin Boutique User Account.
Note: If your download is a .zip file, please unzip it.
2. Move the folder to a location of your choice.
3. Open Kontakt within your DAW.
4. Open the 'Files' tab and navigate to the location of your new Kontakt library.
5. Click and drag the .nki file into the empty window.
Your Kontakt instrument is now installed and ready to use.
