The EQ is known for its ability to preserve transparency while adding space and presence. It comes with a bass band a stepped 50 Hz shelf filter or frequency-selectable peak EQ. Its treble band is a fixed 10 kHz shelf EQ, and the midsection is sporting a frequency-selectable peak or notch EQ with 8 available frequencies. The control panel is rounded out with a level knob and EQ bypass buttons.

History
The hardware legend that inspired UK-69 was the EQ module of a classic British console used in recordings by The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and Bob Marley. Designed in the 1960s. it was a challenge to recreate this piece of hardware in the digital domain.
Carefully studying the unit’s original transformer and inductors Antelope Audio managed to convincingly recreate its vintage input stage. If you are lucky enough to have worked with real hardware you’ll recognize its analog weight, smooth high-end qualities, and its signature distortion harmonics when pushed a bit harder.
