With advanced expansion options and unmatched sound quality, TRINITY became the foundation for KORG’s future flagships — TRITON, OASYS, and KRONOS — and a defining synth of the ’90s.

Now, on its 30th anniversary, that legendary sound is reborn in software as the KORG Collection TRINITY. Every detail has been meticulously modeled — from the ACCESS sound engine to the original D/A converters — to capture the unmistakable depth, clarity, and presence of the original TRINITY hardware.

The ACCESS sound engine, faithfully reproduced

The TRINITY featured ultra-high-quality PCM samples with 48kHz sampling, exceptionally hi-fi for its time, along with four types of oscillators, dual filters, eight insert effects, two master effects, and an eight-part multi-timbral combination mode. KORG Collection TRINITY fully reproduces the TRINITY's ACCESS (Advanced Combined Control Synthesis System) sound engine in software, allowing you to enjoy the high-quality sounds that defined TRINITY as the breakthrough synthesizer of the ’90s.

Supervised by the original developers

The most essential element of the KORG Collection is authentic sound. KORG Collection TRINITY meticulously reproduces not only the original PCM samples and effects circuits but also the subtle sonic characteristics unique to the hardware. This was achieved under the supervision of the original TRINITY engineers, ensuring that every detail is faithfully recreated.

Fusion of original and enhanced features

Modeled D/A converters deliver the unmistakable TRINITY sheen, preserving the original hardware's signature clarity and power. 
In addition, software-based enhancements such as expanded maximum polyphony and eight insert effects slots  without the original hardware limitations—allow for sound design possibilities that go beyond the capabilities of the original instrument.

All sounds, Including options, Built-in

KORG Collection TRINITY includes the entire original sample library with all four expansions (TFD-1S MEGA PIANOS, TFD-2S ORCHESTRAL ELEMENTS, TFD-3S DANCE WAVES & DRUMS, TFD-4S M1 FACTORY), plus all of the additional samples from 1998's TR-Rack sound module. In total, there are over 2,000 ready-to-use Programs and Combinations.
