Now generate chord progressions as well as melodies. Nearly 1,000 chord progressions are possible across 9 genres. Chord progressions play via new chord and bass layers with dedicated internal sounds and rhythms.
Chord progressions fully editable progressions with expanded chord types (Maj9, sus2, Dim7 etc). Select from over 140 chord and bass rhythms.
Upgraded melody algorithms
Upgraded generative algorithms for more natural, flowing melodic lines. Generated melodies are now twice as long (8 bars). AI powered melody generation algorithms create a new unique melody for you every time, giving you a world of melody creation possibilities.
Brand new UI
Melody Sauce 3 features a new design and layout, now includes a new piano roll section where you can adjust the melodies.
Import MIDI chord with detection
Import your own midi chord files into Melody Sauce 3. Drag in a MIDI chord file and MS3 will detect the chords and key so you can create melodies to match.
New “Movement” and "Chord Fit” controls
Choose whether melodies flow smoothly or leap between phrases. Set how closely melodies follow the underlying chords.
New sounds

Upgrading from Melody Sauce 1 / 2
1. Upgrading from an earlier version of Melody Sauce to Melody Sauce 3 is completed via the plugin and requires a full valid serial number (license key) for Melody Sauce V1 / 2. On loading the plugin for the first time the plugin the licensing window will appear.
2. Select “Upgrade” and you will prompted to enter both your old Melody Sauce V1 / 2 serial number and your new recently purchased Melody Sauce Vr upgrade serial number to unlock the plugin.
Installation
1. Download the installer file from within your Plugin Boutique User Account and open it to begin the installation process > Follow the installation process within the installer.
2. Once installed, open Melody Sauce within your DAW > Enter the license key, found within the serial number section of your Plugin Boutique User Account > Click 'OK'.
3. Click 'CLOSE'.
Your software is now activated and ready to use within your DAW.
