CenterOne 3 Upgrade from CenterOne 2

CenterOne 3 gives direct access to the extracted Left, phantom Center and Right components of a stereo signal. Instead of treating the input as two independent channels, it reveals the spatial relationship between centered and surrounding information so users can rebalance, isolate and shape the stereo image without returning to the original stems.

MULTIBAND L C R CONTROL divides the signal into Low, Mid and High regions with adjustable crossover frequencies and slopes. Each band provides independent Left, Center and Right gain and mute controls, making it possible to tighten low frequencies, reshape the midrange or open the high end without applying the same spatial balance across the entire spectrum.

LR C EQUALIZATION adds two parametric EQ bands that can each be assigned to either the combined L/R zone or the Center. Engineers can reduce harshness in a centered vocal without dulling stereo ambience, remove low-mid buildup from the sides while retaining centered kick and bass, or add openness to wide material without changing the tonal balance of the center.

SIDECHAIN DYNAMICS brings frequency- and position-selective compression into the CenterOne workflow. Internal and external detector sources can drive a target matrix of Low, Mid and High bands across the L, C and R components. This allows a specific part of a stereo signal to move only when needed
