Unglued built SIDELINE to make space around a kick without having to rebuild his sidechain setup every time. Draw a Volume envelope, use waveform-driven Ring processing or duck the frequencies occupied by the sidechain with Spectral. Choose one, two or three bands and process each band independently.
Auto Fit matches the envelope to a captured kick. Adjustable 0 to 20 ms lookahead, signed PRE/POST traces and trigger display help show what is happening. Optional low-end phase alignment adds Resample and Stretch methods with adaptive return and fade-back controls. It works best with tonal bass; complex or polyphonic material may not track reliably.
Phase defaults off. It adds 30 ms when enabled, plus lookahead and any active crossover or Spectral delay. A compatible DAW must route audio into SIDELINE's external sidechain input.
