Featuring the VCO-20 Dual Oscillator, Poly VCO-20 Dual Oscillator, VCF-20 Filter, Poly VCF-20 Filter, and ESP-20 Processor, Cherry Audio's MS Vintage Bundle recreates the legendary raunchy, screaming character of one the most famous Japanese synths of the 70s with stunning accuracy. Poly VCO-20 Dual Oscillator and Poly VCF-20 Filter bring these uniquely aggressive tones to polyphonic synthesis. The idiosyncratic external signal processor section is also replicated, offering endless creative options.

The ESP-20 Processor recreates the slightly bizarre and endlessly useful External Signal Processor section of the classic MS-20 synthesizer. The Frequency To Voltage converter analyzes incoming audio and generates matching voltages for controlling oscillator pitch and envelope amplitude. This lets you "play" Voltage Modular by singing, playing guitar, or any other monophonic signal source. ESP-20's frequency converter has a much wider range than the original for increased functionality, while still retaining the quirkiness of the original.

The VCF-20 Filter is a polyphonic dual highpass/lowpass filter offering the aggressive tones of a classic 70s Japanese monosynth in a polyphonic version. Its uniquely raunchy sound totally transforms the overall tonality of Voltage Modular! The highpass and lowpass sections can be used in series, as with the original instrument, or as two independent filters, or mixed together in a number of ways, and Cherry Audio included extensive CV inputs for parameter control. Cherry Audio carefully A/B'd the VCF-20 Filter with an original instrument with the coveted "version 35" filter and they think you'll be delighted with its authenticity.

VCO-20 Dual Oscillator uncannily delivers the unique lo-fi oscillator waveforms and unusual ring modulator effect of one of the most famous Japanese synthesizers of the 70s in a fully polyphonic version. It also features a polyphonic Linear Freq CV input audio-rate FM madness.

Also included are a selection of professionally-produced presets that show off the massive sounds available with the MS Vintage Bundle. Note: These presets are designed to work with modules from the Voltage Modular Core package.
