Loopmasters is proud to present the sequel to the immensely popular Funky House Producer by Andy Lee! This second instalment contains everything that made the original so successful, brought up to date for 2021. Everything is 100% royalty-free as always and ready to kickstart your next track.

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of Andy Lee releasing sample products for Loopmasters, he’s taken a retrospective look at some of the early packs and re-imagined, reprocessed, resampled, and gone back into the studio with an extensive series of new recording sessions, to create a fresh and fun new pack for us simply titled…  “Funky House Producer 2”

Funky house has always been, as the name suggests, reliant upon samples and influences from funk, disco and soul!!  It's a genre within house music that hasn’t really disappeared in the 15 years since the original pack was created and is still as popular now and musically relevant today as it was in the '90s and '2000s.

As well as taking influence from artists such as Masters at Work, Phill Week, DJ Sneak, Joey Negro, Cassius, Daft Punk, Junior Jack, Sandy Riviera, Miguel Migs and many more, we also let Andy take you back further with influences taken from his magic 7” collection of early funk and disco and although we didn’t sample any of these classics, they inspired many sessions of live guitar and bass all played through vintage pre-amps and resampled to give you that authentic 90s funky house vibe.

As well as a solid selection of track-ready drum loops and a plethora of guitar and bass samples both live and resampled, this pack also comes with those all-important vocal cuts, this time performed by rising star Christy! To round off and complete the pack we have a superb collection of keys, synths, and piano loops all played live then filtered and resampled.

You’ll also find the included one-shot samples have some exceptionally useful guitar and bass tones all pre-programmed for your major sampler formats (NNXT / EXS24 / Kontakt / HALion). All full of funky mojo and ’90s house vibes! Drum hits and keyboard hits are also not to be overlooked here.

All in all, this pack forms a fun, funky, easy to use and inspirational collection that demonstrates funky house will always be around in some shape or form and is as relevant now as it was 15 years ago, and likely still be in another 15 years into the future.

Equipment used included Revox Tape Recorder, Neve 1073 Pre-Amps, Sequencial Pro-3, Fender P-Bass, PRS Guitars, Fender & Cort Bass, API 560 EQ, OTO BAUM and Voyager synth.

The loops within play at 125 BPM, making this collection perfect for the named genres plus house, deep house, tribal house, melodic techno and many more!
