Motion: Harmonic
Ignite Your Creative Flow
Motion: Harmonic opens up new frontiers in distortion, filtering and bitcrushing, placing you at the centre of a dynamic and responsive sound-shaping experience.
From subtle warming and shaping to intense modulated signal destruction, Motion: Harmonic puts everything you need at your fingertips. Comprehensive parameters for distortion, bitcrushing and filtering take these effects into new creative territory, with tools like the multipeak filter and dynamic distortion giving you new ways to play with sound.
The Hexagon, alongside a pulsating and reactive 3D object in the main view, offers six macro sliders that can be assigned to control any of the plugin’s effect parameters. These sliders then react to a ‘magnetic’ cursor whose path can be recorded using mouse movements or drawn graphically.
The Hexagon: Reactive Animation
Improving upon the concept of the traditional XY pad with new dimensions, the hexagonal control area is first-and-foremost in Motion: Harmonic, allowing its six macro sliders to be pushed and pulled together, in a reactive and creative way.
The six sliders act as macro controls for any distortion, filtering or modulation parameter in the plugin. The sliders themselves are then moved by a magnetic field surrounding the mouse cursor. Your cursor movements can be played live, recorded or pre-programmed; then controlled with extensive syncing and playback options. In addition, assigning any effect parameters to the centre of the hexagon means their properties will be modulated by the incoming audio level.
Making the Moves
Your motions within the Hexagon can attract or repel macro sliders, and your magnetic field can be customised for its Range and Strength and the macros’ slider’s behaviour can be changed using Hold and Release timing parameters. The path of your motions can be created and played back in many ways…
Paths can be recorded freely using the mouse cursor or designed using drawing and editing functions. Record a path using the mouse, and you can audition and trim the recording to hone in on your ideal pattern. Designing a path yourself is fully customisable – you can create, edit or remove points, and curve lines between them.
Once your path shape is fully formed, the Timeline provides full flexibility for how it’s played back and triggered. Playback can be looped or triggered by your DAW, and playback direction can be set between Forward, Backward or Pendulum. You can sync playback to your DAW’s tempo or run the path in milliseconds, and even the speed of the cursor’s movement through the path can be made variable, accelerating or decelerating during playback.

VISION 4X
Get a deeper understanding of your sound than ever before with VISION 4X, a powerful visual analysis plugin with maximum precision.
Developed in partnership with electronic music trio NOISIA, VISION 4X gives you the insights you need to prepare your tracks ready for competition with today’s top mixes, and the clarity to make the right mixing decisions with confidence – however modest your setup.
Four Visual Dimensions
VISION 4X combines four custom-built visual analysis tools that work simultaneously in real-time, including a spectrogram, bar graph, waveform and phase correlation meter. Each analyser is displayed in its own resizable window, allowing you to scale the plugin’s UI to suit your workflow.
Perfectly sync VISION 4X to your DAW and customise the analysis timeframe for any project. Choose to run the analysers continuously, or loop a section of time and let them overlay. Alternatively, if you want to hone in on a particular sound, set the plugin to retrigger whenever a MIDI signal is received – ideal for comparing kicks in real-time.
Spectrogram
VISION 4X’s powerful spectrogram provides enhanced low-end resolution, offering access to more information about the frequencies in your mix. Freeze the visualiser for a snapshot of your sound, zoom in to get a close-up of the frequency spectrum, and navigate the display to discover details that otherwise could be missed.
A selection of visualisation modes allows you to see your sound in whatever way you require. Transient mode is designed for showing the start and end point of notes, Harmonic mode gives a more detailed look at the harmonic content of a signal, and All-round offers the best solution for a general overview of your audio.
Customise the spectrogram’s display with ten Colour Maps to choose from, each one specifically selected for maximum information density when analysing sound. Brightness can be biased towards the low or high frequencies using Map Bias, and Range Hz and Range Db sliders give you total control over the frequency and volume range of the display.
Bar Graph
VISION 4X’s bar graph is a fully customisable spectrum analyser that can highlight the gain levels of the sustained frequencies in your sound. Choose to get an overview of how frequencies are distributed in your mix, or an intricate analysis, by varying the number of bars shown in the graph. The Speed of the bar graph’s movement can be adjusted to run alongside your track however you see fit, and you can easily spot peak levels using the Peak Hold sustain control.
VISION 4X also has a Spectrum Highlight feature that indicates resonant frequencies, which can be tailored for sensitivity and matched with the colour coding of the spectrogram.
Understand and improve the balance of your mix by comparing it with reference curves from a range of genres, generated through an in-depth analysis of hundreds of tracks. Each reference curve has an average and a maximum value line, with overshooting clearly indicated in red – the perfect visual feedback tool for assurance in your mixing decisions.
Waveform
As well as the spectrogram and bar graph, VISION 4X features a waveform analyser that enables you to carefully inspect your sound source. Alongside the plugin's other visualisers, you can use the waveform analyser to magnify soundwaves and gain valuable pitch, volume and timing information, with an intuitive colour-coded display.
The waveform analyser is accompanied by VU and RMS metering tools, allowing you to assess volume and loudness levels with ease. Keep track of the headroom for your mix with an overshoot highlighting feature that informs you when levels are going above 0dB.
Phase Correlation Meter
Explore the stereo dimensions of your sound with VISION 4X’s phase correlation meter, a tool that gives you an impression of your stereo spread and helps you to determine phase differences between the left and right channels. Any phase issues are clearly displayed along the centre line, helping you to maintain alignment and prevent any loss of audio when you’re converting to mono.

KSHMR Chain
Revolutionise Your Plugin Chain
With KSHMR Chain you can fine-tune the settings of plugins across multiple tracks with a single twist, and hear the accumulative effect of those changes in real-time – great for working with vocal stacks or groups of instruments.
Adding/removing a plugin in the Chain, rearranging and parallel processing
No more copy and pasting instances of the same plugin, and switching between them to adjust their individual parameters.
The plugin has been developed in collaboration with KSHMR, whose philosophy is that “an efficient workflow helps you to stay creative”. With this in mind, the plugin also doubles up as an intuitive organizational tool, scanning and stocking all your plugins in easy-to-reach categories that make sense for producers.
Revolutionary Leader/Follower Technology
KSHMR Chain is powered by a forward-thinking concept that will make a considerable improvement to your mixing and production workflows.
The plugin comes in two parts: a “Leader” and a “Follower”. Add the Leader on one track to load plugins, then add a Follower on a different track and link them with a simple click. Once linked, the Follower will automatically copy all plugins and their settings from the Leader.
Any adjustments made to your plugin settings on the Leader will be instantly carried out on all of the Followers linked to it, meaning you get immediate, unison feedback from your mixing decisions.
KSHMR Chain vs. Bussed or Group FX
Effects like auto-tune need to be used on individual tracks instead of on a bus or group, as each vocal requires specific corrections at different times. When you want to make adjustments to multiple auto-tune settings you would usually end up being forced to jump between instances to make changes to pitch or re-tune speed.
In the same way, if you use an effect like compression in a bus or group, that results in applying it as a whole, and not to the individual tracks. This isn’t always ideal, because the compressor can’t account for the differences between each track and instead works on the combined signal
With KSHMR Chain, you get the ease and simplicity of applying effects to a group – only now they are applied to each track individually. This simple but powerful development means you can fine-tune both individual and collective elements of your mix at the same time. It’s also a big advantage when exporting stems, as you can bounce out separate stems with effects and automation intact – a process that is not possible with all DAWs.

Lifeline Console
Instant Analogue Character
While Lifeline Expanse simulates the space and characteristics of real recording environments and re-amping methods, Lifeline Console focuses on mixing in a control room, offering you the sound of sought-after hardware and analogue formats all within your DAW. Lifeline Console and Lifeline Expanse are also available together within the Lifeline Bundle.
Each of the plugin’s five modules brings a particular vintage flavour to your signal chain:
- Pre-amp warms and enhances the signal with colourful saturation via a customisable frequency response.
- EQ offers characterful spectral shaping with a choice of analogue circuitry.
- Compressor makes quick work of dynamics duties and contains an innovative Auto Makeup control.
- Modulation imparts the movement and life of warped records and tape speed variations.
- Wear adds the charm and imperfections of old-school playback, introducing the noise, artefacts and unpredictable nature of tape, vinyl and cassette.
Whether you’re adding gentle sheen and signal enhancement, degrading a sound into a nostalgic, lo-fi production, or anything in between, there’s a module combination for whatever you need.
Enhance Warmth
The crucial first stage in a recorded signal’s journey, a preamp adds gain but can also impart warmth, drive and excitation.
Console’s pre-amp combines this classic preamp workflow with the customisability of the digital realm, letting you shape the frequency response curve of your circuit’s character to perfectly suit the instrument you’re working with.
Three modes help you further refine the type of drive and enhancement needed. Bright offers a high-end presence and sheen that can bring an airy, sparkling quality. Warm adds body, smoothness and presence, particularly useful for midrange frequencies. Dark brings weight and punch to low frequencies.
Push-Pull saturation warms the signal with a weighted frequency response and then brings the overall gain back down – leaving only the spectral character of the preamp. Dial in the exact character of the response using Bias, Q and Shape controls.
Shape Tonal Balance
Sculpting the frequency range of your audio is essential both for shaping the tonal balance of each channel and for allowing each element its own place in a mix.
Lifeline Console’s EQ offers a classic parametric four-band approach with a choice of three modes. Gain mode offers a clean circuit for simple and precise EQ jobs. Vintage Circuit mode introduces additional harmonics to drive a signal when boosting. Dirty Circuit mode brings all-out saturation and distortion into the EQing process.
With a low cut or shelf filter, low-mid and high-mid bands, plus a high cut or shelf filter, and the ability to work in 3dB or 30dB modes, Lifeline Console’s EQ offers everything from subtle tone shaping to powerful harmonic enhancement.

Lifeline Expanse
Breathe Life into Audio
The Lifeline series began with Lifeline Expanse – an extensive and intuitive multi-effect that breathes life into any sound by adding character, space and width.
Lifeline Expanse creates authenticity and realism by using intricate re-amping techniques. Re-amping is the process of taking an audio signal and playing it out in an environment. The signal is sent through amps, mics and effects to add colour, texture and depth, then re-recorded.
Lifeline Expanse distils this complex technique into a modern, sleek workflow that offers producers instant flexibility and control over every element. Rearrange the signal chain and delicately blend effects using each module's main controls or the more focused under-the-hood functions.
Replicate Realism
Re-amping helps to shape sounds and draw out their unique character. Where producers and engineers once needed hours to set up studios to create ambience and realistic room tones, Expanse can instantly move microphones, switch amps and add effects to create a realistic ‘live’ environment in a few clicks.
Expanse has a versatile range of speaker emulations to experiment with, ranging from classic recording equipment to modern-day devices. From a Gameboy and vintage 8-track recorder to high-definition monitors and an electric guitar cabinet, decades of audio authenticity is ready and waiting. You can easily manipulate the age, drive, tone and mix of each element to emphasise each device’s individual qualities.
- Device: Emulations of small consumer electronics such as phone and laptop speakers.
- Cabinet: Emulations of medium-sized guitar cabinets.
- Monitors: Emulations of larger studio monitors with a rich frequency response.
- Vintage: Uses the impulse responses from vintage recording equipment including a classic 8-track cassette recorder and a ribbon microphone.
Enhance Harmonics
Dirt uses classic saturation to swerve between subtle warmth and thickness through to hard-hitting distortion and fuzz. Whether you need delicate textures or aggressive overdrive, Dirt takes on the challenge, effortlessly. Warm your mixes with gentle tape or tube saturation, or add a gritty edge to vocals, guitars, basses, synths and drums with Rectify and Fuzz.
The Tube, Tape, Rectify and Fuzz algorithms instantly add distortion, saturation, aggressive harmonics and noise to any sound you want. Using the Drive, Smooth and Tone controls, the intensity or smoothness of each effect can be easily dialled in to suit any context.
- Tube: Smooth saturation for all-around analogue warmth. Increasing the drive provides heavier distortion.
- Tape: Adds subtle warmth, glue and fullness. Increase the drive for extra punch.
- Rectify: Introduces extra harmonics and fuzz an octave above the incoming signal.
- Fuzz: A heavy guitar fuzz for extreme harmonic overtones.
