Audified never want to play by the rules, so they gave the old Pultec ® some twist. Combining vintage schematics with modern technological know-how, they crafted the perfect Audified 1A Equalizer – where innovation meets tradition.

Piece of History

When Eugene Richard Shenk created the unit in the 1950s, the original unique design changed the game. The original unit was used on countless hits from the 50s to today and will remain a staple in the music industry. Audified captured the essence and added their technical expertise and audio engineering experience on top. Their technology and love for tube-based devices come across in their plugins and studio work and keep being an endless inspiration for creating tools for musicians worldwide. So don’t think about 1A EQ as an “exact replica” (as if there is such a thing) – think about it as an homage and evolution.

U73b Compressor

Faithful and unique emulation of an old German broadcast Compressor/Limiter Unit

It is an all-tube vary-mu compressor/limiter with an adjustable release time option. We kept the circuit exactly as it was originally designed and only added input and output gain (before and right after the compressor circuit) to help with the proper adjustment of the compression. The plugin effect has been also supplemented with a VU meter and selectable side-chaining. U73b is great for mastering, mixing drums, bass, guitar, vocals and voiceovers.

RZ062 Equalizer

The Sweetest EQ Ever

The exact models of Klangfilm RZ062 vintage EQ modules. Two plug-ins for music production and mastering. The RZ062a and RZ062b modules differ in the function of the central knob. In the A-module, the middle handle rotates the entire frequency curve around the central point (650 Hz). When the bass frequencies are raised, the trebles are simultaneously lowered. The b-module is even more complicated. Its presence knob lets you choose one of four frequencies (1.4, 2, 2.8, and 4 kHz) and adjust their gain simultaneously. This parameter helps your sonic material to cut through very gently and sensitively.
