EQ

EQ or equalisation is the process of removing, turning up, or turning down harmonic content in a sound. EQ can come in many shapes, sizes and views, some add character to a sound and some can be extremely clinical. Mainly used to create sonic space for other elements in a track, EQ is something every record producer, engineer or mastering engineer use.
