Spectral Analysis

These plugins gives you a visual representation of your sound by frequency. They are useful when you can hear something stick out in a mix but you can’t tell where in the frequency spectrum it is. A spectrum or frequency analyser can be useful in this instance as it gives you the ability to see the sound coming out of your speakers.
